Porsche India has launched updated 2015 Porsche Cayenne at a price tag beginning at Rs 1.02 crores. The Porsche Cayenne has become a major success for a brand that is still associated primarily with sports cars and with new refreshed 2015 Cayenne company shows its continued commitment to SUVs. The new 2015 Cayenne comes in four variants i.e. two diesel Cayenne, a standard petrol variant and top edge Cayenne Turbo. It is expected that company will launch other variants in coming days like the Cayenne GTS and company’s top of the flagship model Cayenne Turbo S. Ultra luxury carmaker included more features in updated version of Cayenne which distinguish it for earlier model, including four points LED daytime running lamps, Bi-xenon headlamps, refreshed bonnet, bumper, air blades that help direct air into the intercoolers and engine upgrades gives it more sportier look.
From the inside new Cayenne gets more comfortable and softer seats, an air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management, panoramic sunroof, separate zone automatic climate control including a rear seat ventilation system which is an optional feature. The new redesigned interior also features multi-function steering wheel with paddle shift modeled on the one in the 918 Spyder supercar. At the rear a similar LED treatment can be found with exhaust outlets integrated into the rear fascia.
New revised engine will gives lower fuel consumption and better performance. Lightest in the new facelifted series Cayenne S is powered by 3.6-litre V6 bi-turbo petrol engine which is also found under the hood of Macan capable of producing 420bhp and 550Nm of torque, earlier its was powered using naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 and diesel variant is propelled by 4.2-litre V8 engine produces a massive torque of 850Nm. Cayenne turbo continues to be propelled by same 4.8-liter bi-turbo V8 with the same specification internationally available, unlike other models i.e. internationally the 3.0-liter V6 diesel features 17 hp more at 262 hp but Indian model produces 245 hp and 550 Nm of torque. It will sprint 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 sec with a top speed of 252 kmph.

It is expected that Cayenne will be facing competition with Audi next gen Q7 launches in early 2015.
