Ford India has launched all new 2016 Ford Endeavour today. The SUV marks the third launch for Ford India in the 2015-16 financial year and comes with an all-new design language and features that are believed to make it the best SUV in its segment. 2016 Ford Endeavour will compete with Toyota’s Fortuner, Hundai’s Santa FE, Chevrolet Trailblazer and the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. The all new 2016 Endeavour is priced at Rs. 24.75

The SUV is based on Ford’s Edge design philosophy, while retaining the muscular styling all through. This new Endeavour will be a successor to the current model on sale in India. The new SUV from the company will be available in 6 different colours viz. sunset Red, diamond white, golden bronze, moondust silver, panther black and smoke grey. The interior of the new Endeavour is inspired by Ford’s F-150 pickup truck. The cabin features Ford’s SYNC2 multimedia system with an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen display like in the F-150. This screen also shows roll angle of the car in offroad mode.
The SUV comes in two engine options of 2.2 liter and 3.2 liter TDCi family of turbocharged diesel mills. The 2.2 liter power-plant produces 158bhp of power and 385Nm of torque, while the 3.2 liter engine develops 197bhp of power and 470Nm of torque. Both these engines are mated to 6 speed automatic gearbox but the 2.2 liter variant also comes with 6 speed manual as a separate variant. The fully loaded 4×4 variant is available in only 3.2 liter engine option while 2.2 liter all variants get 4×2 layout.
The new SUV from Ford is available in 6 different variants. As per ARAI. the fuel economy numbers are 14.12 km/l for 2.2l 4×2 MT variant, 12.62 km/l for 2.2l 4×2 AT variant, 13.50 km/l for 2.2l 4×4 MT variant, 10.91 km/l for 3.2l 4×4 AT variant.
