Land Rover today announced that the 2016 Range Rover Evoque bookings have begun and the official launch of the car will take place in November. The updated Evoque was launched at the Geneva Motor Show this year.
The 2016 Evoque will come with redesigned headlamps and DRL’s, larger air intakes highlighted by slender LED fog lamps, reworked LED tail lights and a sensor based hands free boot lid shutdown feature. On the interior, the company has given a 17 speaker 825 Watts Meridian Surround Sound System with an 8-inch touchscreen display, a heads-up display and a surround camera system.
The current Range Rover Evoque is powered by in-line four cylinders, 2,179cc diesel engine that develops 187.7bhp of power and 420Nm of torque mated to nine-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. The SUV sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds and can go all the wy up to 195 km/h. No engine update is expected on the car.

The Evoque is assembled in India at JLR’s Pune facility. The same arrangement will continue with the Evoque facelift. The company recently launched the Range Rover Discover Sport in India which received a tremendous response with the company confirming over 200 bookings for the Discovery Sport. Land Rover Discovery Sport was launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 46.10 lakh inclusive of 3 year/100,000 km warranty and three year service pack.
