2017 E -class spied, Mercedes-Benz all set to revolutionize the flagship sedan. After revealing new nomenclature for upcoming cars, Mercedes-Benz is all set to reinvent most of its flagship models. Newly caught on camera is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-class.

Despite of the heavy camouflage wrapping the car as of the moment, among the new elements that could be discerned are new headlights and taillights. The mirrors look different than the ones in the current model. It seems Mercedes is too inspired from the styling and feel of the latest S-Class. Why so new E-class appears very much like the latest C-Class and S-class. E-class is positioned between C-class and S-class

2017 E-class will be developed on all-new MRA (Modular Rear Architecture) platform just like new C Class. Giving extra space to wheel base, the car will grow in size compared to the current model. Not only longer with the use of lightweight materials the new E-Class will be lighter, more rigid and more efficient than the current one.

From Interior spy shots its seen, New E class shares not only exterior styling, but the interior as well with S-class, the dashboard cowl extends to the center console covering the integrated are similar as that of S-class. The infotainment screen controlled familiar and intuitive COMAND rotary switch on the lower console, with four, aviation inspired air vents spread out. The classic clock has been moved under the A/C controls.

The new E-Class will also benefit from a nine-speed automatic transmission. The AMG variant is expected to get the 4 Liter twin turbo motor as that of 5.5 V. The new engine developed is expected to pump massive 600 bhp. Internationally E-class will be available in Four body styles will be on offer, including the sedan, station wagon, coupe and cabriolet.  The car is expected to hit the market in 2016.
