Volkswagen’s new product is the 2017 Volkswagen Arteon and it will be unveiled in world’s most automotive show, Geneva Motor Show. The awesomely looking VW Arteon is the Passat’s big brother and it is specified by the company that it will be placed in the mid-size class.
Well, we might see this car as Phaeton’s replacement by the company but the company do not have any plans to say like this in the marketing gimmick. The differently looking fastback will be positioned above the Passat in the VW range. In simple words, it will be expensive than the Passat.
2017 Volkswagen Aeteon:
The sleek fastback shape reminds the body style of Audi TT and the car looks like bulged up Audi TT in VW’s skin. The four-door with 4 seats just unveiled in the sketch of Arteon’s own website with two killer teaser images. The car follows new VW’s design elements of headlights merged with the grille.
It will be interesting to see if that could affect the sales of Audi, another brand from the Volkswagen Group, which has sedans and fastbacks in the predicted price range of the new Arteon. However, the company is the master of platform sharing and have many models under many brands that are based on the same platform without suffering from sales cannibalism.
