Although nothing has changed in respect to the previous Grand i10, here are some reasons why you should be still considering to buy the all new 2017 Hyundai Grand i10.
The New Stuff:
The Grand i10 Face-lift hardly comes with a Face-lift as nothing really seems to be rendered or changed. Just a new Front grille and some minimalist changes on the bumper and on the fog-lights. Apart from the same old look, here are some new things which you might find actually new in the Grand i-10 Face-lift.
As the trend goes, Hyundai happens to have landed giving the Grand i10 a set of new LED DRLs with its top models. (Although this added accessory is easily available the aftermarket segment).
New Front Grille:
The only actual new thing on the vehicle happens to be the new grille with its but of unique aerodynamic design. Needless to say, the vehicle can be easily identified by its peculiar set of looks on the road. Any street brat will recognise the new vehicle as,” Arey ye to purani i10 hai”.
The company has updated the diesel mill of the 2017 Hyundai Grand i10, and it is now the 1.2-litre turbocharged unit that pumps impressive 73bhp. The earlier diesel model used to come with 1.1-litrr 3 pot diesel that used to produce 69bhp and always felt underpowered. The petrol engine is the same as 1.2-litre 81bhp Kappa but efficiency has been improved to 19.77kmpl. Both the petrol and diesel engines are mated to 5-speed manual gearbox and petrol engine gets an option of an automatic gearbox. The diesel mill now returns impressive 24.95kmpl while automatic petrol engined car returns 17.49kmpl.
The interiors might really prove to be something worth while to give a look at. The interiors are blended with a variety of dual tone colours. The black and red dual tone really gives it a bad-ass sporty look. The steering sure does look a bit too much for the small hatch. The new stuff includes on top end variant is 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, but mid variants get 5-inch screen instead of 7-inch. Fancy stuff like reverse camera and sensors, automatic climate control and rear AC vents are retained in this model.
The Price Tag:
The vehicle comes with a price tag of 4.38 lakhs – 6.39 lakh for the petrol models. The diesel variants are priced from 5.38 to 7.36 lakhs.
The Grand i10 Facelift will prove itself against Nissan Micra, VW Polo, KUV100, Ford Figo, Maruti Ignis.
(Frankly Why not purchase Maruti Ignis instead.)
