In another World Exclusive, Team AutoColumn has spotted the 2016 VW Vento (Internal Codename Vento GP) undisguised. 2016 VW Vento will NOT come under MQB platform.
Although there is not much to see in these images, it is clear that the 2016 Vento will be launched in July 2015 with the following changes:
1) New Headlamp
2) New Grille
3) New Front Bumper
4) New Rear Bumper
5) New Tail Lights
6) New Alloy Wheel Design
7) New Horizontal Strip on Boot Lid
VW plans to differentiate the Vento visually from its hatchback sibling, the Polo. Also, the Vento will be given a lot of feature upgrades to make it a more premium offering.
The same engine options will be carried on to the 2016 Vento:
1) Diesel: 1.5L TDI (Turbo Diesel) engine 105PS and 250N-m (5-speed manual and 6-speed DSG)
2) Petrol 1.2L TSI (Direct Injection Turbo Petrol) engine with 105PS and 175 N-m (7-speed DSG)
