Hyundai Motors India Ltd. announced today, that it has achieved a milestone by selling 4 million vehicles in the country. The South Korean manufacturer begun its operations in India 19 years ago with the launch of its first product the Santro. The company with the recent launches i10 Grande, i20 Elite, i20 Active, Creta, is experiencing the best times. It is now considered to be successful in the Indian market.

The Fluidic Design Sculpture is the main reason behind the vast following Hyundai has in the country. HMIL is the largest exporter of passenger vehicles and the second largest manufacturer of India. It currently has 10 vehicles in its line-up – Eon, i10, Grande i10, Elite i20, Active i20, Xcent, Verna, Creta, Santa Fe and Elantra. HMIL has a fully integrated production facility near Chennai with efficient testing provisions and equipment.

HMIL saw the largest one month sale this October which was around 23.7% more than October 2014. It is giving a head-to-head competition to the industry ruler – Maruti Suzuki.
