Speculations recently arose that the highly awaited KTM RC 390 India launch would take place on 9th next month. The latest rumours originated at an unofficial ‘KTM RC 390 – India’ Facebook page, which has come up with some interesting revelations and spy images in the past. Also, the Facebook fan-page of KTM dealers in India recently stated that the KTM RC 390 India launch will happen in early September.
In essence, the upcoming KTM RC 390 is a track-honed version of the equally potent KTM 390 Duke, which has become quite a rage among the Indian biking lot. The RC 390 has a full front fairing and more track oriented ergonomics, making the bike a bit sportier than its naked cousin. It is highly likely that the India-spec KTM RC 390 will have a max power of 43bhp. All this means that not only will the upcoming model be as powerful as its naked brethren, but it would also be the most powerful fully-faired motorcycle in below 400cc segment. Very much like the Duke 390, the RC version will be locally manufactured, which along with excessive parts sharing with the 390 Duke, should help Bajaj price this model very competitively. The KTM RC 390 price in India is expected to be approximately INR 2.25 lakhs, which would make the bike a really great value for money product.
The soon to be launched KTM RC 390 is expected to become a game changer of sorts in India. Not only is the upcoming model a world-class motorcycle that should bring a smile to every bike-enthusiast’s face, it is also expected to bring in loads of performance for a price that won’t make you plan to break the bank!
