Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire has increased the company’s growth by 80 percent in the compact sedan segment. The company claims to have sold 30,000 units every month since the launch of the Dzire in 2012. Dzire is designed for India and the company has plans to launch a facelift version to satisfy customer needs for new features. The facelift test model was found in some undisclosed location. The company had to do the changes in their current model to stand up to the competition in this particular segment of compact sedans.
New Dzire would have aesthetical changes. The engine compartment would remain the same confirming that there will be no mechanical changes what-so-ever. At the front, there will be a chrome bar running across the grill, on which the Suzuki monogram will me placed at the center. The Fog lamp enclosure will be triangular shaped and will also have elements of chrome on the borders of the enclosure. The smoked headlight is an add-on to the aesthetics of the new Dzire.
The boot lid will remain the same with a chrome bar and badge having no alterations. The rear bumper is changed just a bit in shape and the reflector, which was right at the center will be missing. Replying to the needs of the company’s customer, Maruti Suzuki will be introducing push-button start,keyless entry and bluetooth conectivity, these features are already available on the European Swift. The ZXi or the ZDi, which are the top end variants will have DRLS( Daytime Running Light).
