Maruti Suzuki launched ‘Auto Gear Shift’ option on the WagonR with an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.76 lakh and Stingray at Rs 4.98 lakh.
In both Maruti WagonR and Stingray, the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission will be available in Vxi and Lxi variants. WagonR is the third in Maruti’s AMT line-up to get AGS, after Maruti Celerio and Alto K10.
Maruti Suzuki WagonR and Stingray will continue to be powered by the 998cc K10B petrol engine, that delivers 67bhp and a maximum torque of 90Nm. Maruti Suzuki WagonR continues to deliver a mileage of 20.51Km/l even with the new automated manual transmission option. There are no other changes to the car.
The company also added an option of airbags and ABS across all the variants of WagonR as optional.
