Hyundai’s new premium hatch i20 Elite has received 40,000 bookings in a mere 2 months.I20 Elite is the perfect package of style, comfort and features. Launched in August 2014, i20 Elite has been yet another successful product from Korean Automakers.
Hyundai sold 6,627 units of i20 Elite in August, while in the month of September, sales were at 8,903 units. Hyundai expects to increase their sales further with the help of this car and is targeting volumes of 7,000 + cars per month.
Elite i20 is designed on Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language, which encapsulates a trio of main design elements: fluid aesthetics, the modern Hyundai look, and a premium ambiance. Though the car is missing some equipments already present on old i20, like Rear disc brakes, side & curtain airbags, sunroof, auto-wipers & DRLs, car has gained more popularity than i20.
I20 Elite is powered with 1197 cc Kappa series motor, which propels 83 BHP of maximum power. 1396 cc Diesel motor, which propels 89 BHP of maximum power. Both these variants are available in 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmission.
Elite i20 is available in seven shades Sleek Silver, Midas Gold, Pristine Blue, Stardust, Red Passion, Mystic Blue and Polar White.
