Next-Gen Vento / 2018 Volkswagen Vento Spotted Completely without Camouflage

Next-Gen Vento i.e. 2018 Volkswagen Vento also known as VW Virtus is ready and it will hit the tarmac first time in Brazil in early 2018. A teaser image of VW Virtus was posted on Instagram by a Brazilian Auto Journo yesterday. The car was also spotted completely without camo.

Next-Gen Vento Design and Interior:

The all-new next-gen Vento looks much sharp and defined than the current variant. The front gets the same width as Polo but the headlamps are not as same as 2018 Polo. There are no fancy chrome inserts on the front side and grille gets single chrome strip. At the rear, the car design is largely influenced by new gen Passat. The bottom lip of rear bumper gets a chrome strip to add much premium feel to the car.

Interior of the car is similar to the 2018 Polo but this time the color scheme is different. But the feature list remains same such as fully digital instrument panel, leather-wrapped steering wheel, multimedia center with a touch screen, smartphone support at the top of the panel and air -Digital conditioner.

Next-Gen Vento Launch Date:

2018 Vento will be launched in Brazil in the first half of 2018 and to be specific in January 2018 as confirmed by VW’s new president in Brazil. With the same style as Polo, the next-gen Vento is expected to come with extended wheelbase than the outgoing model.

New Vento will be the second product from VW group to come with MQB A0 platform after new Polo. As of now, all derivatives of MQB A0 platform feature a wheelbase of 2.56 meters expect next-gen Vento will get a wheelbase of little over 2.60 meters.

The overall length of next-gen Vento is expected to be 4.40 meters and a boot capacity of 500 liters. All new next-gen Vento will be bigger and better car in all aspects.

Next-Gen Vento Engines

The new Vento will come with 2 engine options in Brazil that include 1.6-liter MSI four cylinder and 1-liter TSI 3 cylinder engines. Brazilian spec VW Vento will get 1-Liter TSI motor with 128 bhp mated to 6-speed automatic transmission for comforting and Highline variants of the car.
