Renault Duster crossed 1 lakh mark. The pioneer of compact SUV in India, Renault Duster has marked sales of 1-lakh units in India. Changing the fortune of Renault, Duster is the highest selling product from Renault vehicle line up in India. Launched in July 2012, to celebrate this milestone, Renault has introduced a ‘’Duster 1 lakh” limited edition at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Having won awards like ‘Car of the year 2013’ and ‘Compact SUV of the Year’, Renault sold 46,786 Dusters last fiscal year, a gain of 19.4 percent over last year.
Duster is sold in over 100 markets across the globe. Perhaps India shares big contribution towards its worldwide sale. The Duster has also achieved another milestone of selling one million units worldwide in the past four years. On the occasion of achieving this milestone Mr. Sumit Sawhney, Country CEO & M.D. of Renault India said

Duster is available in two tunes of diesel engine options, 1.5 liter Diesel motor producing 85Ps and 110 Ps. Renault will finally add much awaited 4×4 variant by the end of 2014, company is already exporting 4×4 variant to countries like Ireland and UK. The Duster 4X4 will be powered by the 1.5 liter diesel engine in 108 Bhp-248 Nm state of tune, and will feature a 6 speed manual gearbox.
