With fierce competition emerging in the scooter market in India, Suzuki Motorcycle India Ltd (SMIL), an off-set of the Japanese two-wheeler auto company, is currently stepping their game up by launching four new scooters in the market. Out of the six proposed launches by SMIL, four are scooters. This shows SMIL’s determination to enter into the big league of Honda, Hero Moto and TVS.
Being SMIL’s newest baby, the Suzuki Let’s is light, practical and fast. Powered by a 110 cc engine with SEP technology, the Suzuki Let’s delivers an approx 63 kmpl. Another astounding feature is that the Suzuki Let’s weighs 98kgs ,which makes it the lightest scooter in the market.
The Suzuki Access variants, the Access 125 and the Access 125 SE are powered by a 125 cc air-cooled, 4-stroke engine equipped with automatic transmission. The Access variants are equipped with Xtra Torque Performance (XTP), which gives more power and a better pick-up. The Access variants come in five colors namely; Glass Sparkle Black, Candy Antares Red, Metallic Flint Grey, Pearl Mirage White and Metallic Sonic Silver. The special edition comes with a Beige seat and new decals.
The Suzuki Swish 125 is built on the same platform and inherits the same engine as the Access 125. The aerodynamically designed body of the Swish125, lowers the coefficient of drag, ensures a smoother ride. The Swish has a larger fuel-tank, with a capacity of 6 liters and 20 liters of luggage space under the seat.
With Suzuki launching these new scooters in the market, we hope that SMIL will have the sweet taste success. With Suzuki Auto Company developing new strategies and products in the car and scooter segment we hope to see Suzuki emerge on the top.
