Triumph launched 10 products today in India starting from Triumph Bonneville at Rs. 5.7 lakh. Most of the products were already showcased at 2012 Autoexpo and since then, Triumph bikes were eagerly waiting to hit Indian market. Today Triumph announced price of its all 10 products for India from which 6 bikes will come to India by CKD route and 4 bikes will come by CBU route. Here are the details,

The Bonneville is the cheapest Triumph in India; offers air cooled 865 cc parallel twin block pumping 67 bhp and 68 Nm of torque with 5 speed gearbox. Triumph Bonneville is offered in 3 colours Lunar Silver, Phantom black and one dual colour option with Chrystal white and Saffire blue. Bonneville T100 and Triumph Thruxton shares the same engine as Bonneville. All these 3 bikes are categorized as Classic bikes by Triumph and have retro styling with modern tech touch whereas Speed Triple, Street Triple are from the roadsters category. Dytona 675R is categorized as Supersports.

The CBU category from Triumph is a mix of Adventure and Cruiser range of motorcycles. Bookings of Triumph range will start from December. Triumph is planning to sell 500 units in the first 6 months of next year. Triumph has already opened 2 dealerships in India, one each in Hyderabad and Bangalore.
In India, Harley Davidson sells 12 products starting from Rs. 5.91 Lakh to Rs. 29 Lakh. Triumph is a direct competitor for Cruiser range of motorcycles for Harley Davidson. Indian motorcycles, too are soon coming to capture market share of Cruiser segment in India.
