Yamaha MT-25 Finds Its Spotlight In Indonesia; Pitted Against KTM-Duke 250

The Japanese bike maker has revealed something to the world via a grand revealing of Yamaha Mt-25 in Indonesia and this will go on sale in the South-east Asian nation. After the whooping success of Yamaha FZ and its integration has stunned the nation with everyone riding it. Having the success in their mind, they’ve gone daring to the world by unveiling it.
Much above, the release of ‘MT-25’ sports model from the ‘MT’ series comes under the inspiration of by the Yamaha YZF-R25.
In recent years, the popularity of sports models has continued to increase in Indonesia, and last year Yamaha Motor launched new products such as the ‘YZF-R15’ and ‘YZF-R25’.


Along with these models, the new ‘MT-25’ will contribute to further heightening the sporting image of the Yamaha brand, and expanding Yamaha Motor’s sales throughout the overall market
Unveiling Yamaha Mt-25 has just become the fourth member of the bike-maker’s popular MT brand of bikes.


However, as a global model charged with ‘expanding business scale’, the future launch of the ‘MT-25’ is planned for many countries around the world, including developed markets.
On the design front, the MT-25 gets a single halogen powered headlight up front with dual LED pilot lights just above the unit. A digi-analogue console also finds place way here, displaying the tachometer in analogue display.

The Yamaha MT-25 is powered by a 249cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder engine, which is also the same unit as on Yamaha’s fully faired YZF-R25 and is mounted on its chassis as a stressed member.
The bike produces 35bhp of power and 2.3kgm of peak torque. It has a 164.6kg kerb weight and is equipped with a 14-litre fuel tank. Yamaha also provides the MT-25 with stylish looking 10-spoke alloy wheels, finished in the same paint scheme as its chassis, lending a really sporty finish here.
It is clearly pitted against the heavily sold KTM-Duke.
Nobody including the author has an idea about the pricing of this MT-25; of all, the motorcycle has a bright future in the emerging 250cc motorcycle segment here in India.
