One of the most popular Mahindra offerings and one of the most loved Mahindra SUV finally gets a new face, as Mahindra & Mahindra launched facelist Scorpio today. In last decade Scorpio received many facelifts, but this one is more promising from Mahindra. Mahindra claims except doors and the roof all the other parts are tweaked and that is evident from the looks.
With growing age and technology, it is always good to be up to date and yes Mahindra engineers have worked hard on overall development of new Scorpio. The most significant change is a new modular chassis and suspension system. The new frame is lighter and stiffer; the front and rear track is wider for better turning radius.
Look at it from the front view and you will see a all new aggressive face, hexagonal grills are the new favorite of all automotive designers across the world, Scorpio too gets new hexagonal grill with large air intake, small chrome inserts separates grill horizontally with Mahindra logo in center. New projector headlamps with DRL eye brows gel neatly with the overall design. New bumpers add a more muscular feel to it.
The side profile is similar to that of older Scorpio. Rear is redesigned as well, at the back a large black plastic cladding on the tailgate gives the new Scorpio a muscular stance, though new tail lights with chrome inserts looks gody, they do not disturb the overall design. The vehicle also gets a pair of new alloy wheels; new 17” alloy design looks prominent of that 16” of previous generations.
