Valentino Rossi introduced the 2014 Yamaha MT-09 Street Rally to the world. With its exclusive new bodywork and special chassis components, the MT-09 Street Rally is built to handle high speed riding and radical cornering.
New fuel tank shrouds, side number plates and fork covers give a more extreme motard image to the MT-09 Street Rally while the new higher and flatter seat makes for a more poised motard riding position.
Finished in Liquid Metal and new graphics, the package is completed with a headlight cover and knuckle guards. The new CF (controlled-fill) die-cast aluminium frame and asymmetrical swing arm add a more sporty look.
On the street the MT-09 Street Rally is built to thrill with its raw linear torque and real good acceleration from 3 cylinder 850 cc motor that churns 115 horses with 85 Nm torque. Yamaha added more personality to already popular MT-09 with these upgrades and to project these changes Yamaha asked racing legend Valentino Rossi to introduce this bike.
