Italian high performance car manufacture Alfa Romeo has just doubled its US line up with the launch of 2015 Alfa Romeo at Detroit Auto show. It is previewed by a thinly-veiled concept which was showcased last year in Geneva motor show. The 4C Spider has been confirmed to go on sale this summer as a 2015 model. New Alfa Romeo 4C is quite identical to 4C coupe, but its is equipped with more conventional head-lights which replaces the bug-eyed ones from the coupe, the carbon fiber windshield frame, the most amazing feature is a removable roof top made up of carbon fiber. Previously the company has confirmed that the spider’s headlights will be available for coupe as on no cost option. New centrally mounted exhaust pipes give the rear end a sportier look while leaving the lower diffuser untouched. Its one of the best car to buy in 2015 not just because of its sexy looks and chassis but because of its ultimate driving pleasure. The big news is an optional dual mode Akrapovic exhaust for extra noise, sounds good!! Company has slightly tweaked the body styling, the most obvious is removable roof top. In order to provide rigidity, Alfa has added structural supports to the carbon fiber tub, handling is made more smoother thanks to aluminium frame. The use of new materials result in 132 additional pounds yet is said to not adversely affect the car’s performance.

From the inside 4C spider has given sporty look, which thrills and gives the driver a racer experience. To enhance and boast the steering experience, it is inspired by cockpit with two-spoke flat-bottomed steering wheel, a driver-oriented center console and a digital instrument cluster. There are no major mechanical changes to the 4C spider, under the hood it will continue to powered using same mid mounted 1.7 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine churning out 237 hp at 6,000 rpm. The engine features an aluminum block and special intakes designed to deliver a sporty note and good throttle response. It is linked to six speed dual clutch transmission controlled by shift paddles. The engine is capable of attaining speeds 0-62 mph in just 4.1 sec with a top speed of 160 mph. For those who are looking  4C spider as racing model a Track Package is specifically made for them, which includes larger sway bars on both ends, high-performance shock absorbers and additional carbon fiber trim inside out with 18-inch front and 19-inch rear forged aluminum wheels, Pirelli P-Zero AR Racing tires.
