Here we have the first teaser images that show the upcoming 2016 Skoda Superb without any camouflage to speak of. Skoda has already announced that the new model Skoda Superb will be revealed in February 2015 and will make its first ever public appearance at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The car will go on sale in Europe by the middle of next year and will be launched in India towards the end of this year, or latest by the first quarter of 2016. From what we can see in one of the teasers, the upcoming car’s front fascia will get the newest styling for the radiator grill and hood. This is the same kind of grill that we have also seen in the all new Octavia and the Fabia and sitting close to the grille are sleek headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights. Also, the second teaser showing the car’s profile reveals that the car will be no longer than the current generation. However, reports say that the 2016 Superb will be a little longer than the new Volkswagen Passat with which it shares many components. Powering the Superb 2016 will be four-cylinder TSI and TDI engines in the beginning. At a later time, the car will also get a a plug-in hybrid variant for the first time in history. Only other detail we know of this car is that it will not have a dual-bootlid and will have Skoda’s new MirrorLink and touchscreen infotainment system.
