2017 Mercedes Benz E Class is expected to launch at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next year.
The interiors of the new 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class are officially unveiled at a press event in Germany. Mercedes Benz has been concentrating on the interiors of its luxury cars lately. The features offered on the new C Class are something to fall for. But, the new E Class is a combination of the S Class and the C Class in terms of technology and features.
The instrument cluster is a place where the new 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class will perform exceptionally. The base variants will get a hybrid system, two analog dials and a 7″ display in the middle. Another 8.4″ display can be seen positioned in the center console. The top variants will get two 12.3″ screens with near High Definition Resolution of 1920 x 720p. Other than the dual displays, the whole central console is backlit for better utility in bad light. In fact, the entire cabin is lit by LED’s which can be selected from an option of 64 colors.
Moving from the infotainment system to its controls on the steering wheel. The steering wheel of the new 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class has something which the world has never seen. It will come with touch sensitive controls which can be used by thumb swipes like a smartphone. This will allow the driver to use most of the features of the infotainment system without lifting his hands from the infotainment system. The menus of the infotainment system have also been simplified.
The sound system on the 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class is the second generation of the Burmester high-end 3D surround with Frontbass system. The system uses 23 speakers, 4 of which are integrated in the roof and a 25-liter bass box with a 400 W amplifier in the boot.
The German manufacturer has not compromised on the interior materials. Exclusive use of wooden inserts along with leather covering all around the car with attention on every minute detail. Even the seats have not been left. The new 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class will come with an option between five different seats – Designo trim ( extreme luxury), Exclusive (supreme luxury) AMG line (with added sportiness) and the Avantgarde somewhere between these options along with affordable basic fabric.
Coming on to the exteriors of the 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class, the major attraction is the new headlight with double eyebrow DRL’s. The E Class will also get the MULTIBEAM LED headlights for the first time. These headlights have 84 individually controlled LED’s per headlamp which will provide optimum lighting during anytime of the day. The 2017 Mercedes Benz E Class also gets LED tail lamps. These lights come with varying intensity according the natural lighting. This will make the car easily visible and hence safer.
