Late last week, we reported that the Hyundai Elite i20 India launch will happen on 11th this month. Now, what we have here with us on this page today are some Hyundai Elite i20 interior images that surfaced a while back. The upcoming Elite i20 is nothing but the new generation 2015 Hyundai i20 and there are good chances that the new car will be sold alongside the current model.
These new Hyundai Elite i20 Interior images were taken by Motoroids reader Shiv Mahapatra. These images are of the top of the line Asta variant and have been taken in one of the Hyundai India dealerships in Cuttack. The Cuttack dealership is reportedly taking bookings for this new model for a token amount of INR 5000, which is less than the booking amount of INR 10,000 that is required to book the car at other dealerships. From what can be made out from these images, the cabin of the new Elite i20 boasts of better quality plastics and richer upholstery. Here are some details that these images reveal –
- Keyless Entry with Push button start
- Auto Climate Control
- The audio system has a display
- The car has a dual tone beige-brown interior color theme
- Multi-function steering wheel
- Buttons are backlit in a shade of Blue
On the outside, the car features a new design that is based on Hyundai’s Storm Edge design language. The Storm Edge design language made its India debut on the latest generation Santa Fe SUV. The front fascia of the Elite i20 looks a bit similar to that of the new Hyundai Grand i10. It features a similar radiator grille, sharply styled headlights and a big air dam. The sides of the new Elite i20 gets blackened B and C pillars, and have their respective shoulder lines joining the headlamps with the taillights. The rear end gets stylish wraparound taillamps and a chunky bumper with safety reflectors neatly integrated into it. As revealed by the image you see below, the taillamp has a really stylish motif that should have a wide appeal among prospective buyers.
