With ever increasing road accidents and mishaps, we also have a bunch of crashes which were never meant to go wrong. Similarly, this Ninja H2 rider was on a private airstrip with his buddies there for a shoot for an upcoming event. Eventually being in the flow, stuff did go wrong, let us know what exactly happened.
The mishap took place at the Taneja aerospace(Hosur), company’s small pvt. airstrip where various of their events take place. The event took place when a group of professional bikers were up on the private airstrip, to shoot for an upcoming event. The riders were testing top speeds of their respected bikes which included the Ninja H2 and the MV Augusta F3. As the Top speed test approached its end, the well experienced Ninja H2 rider happened to misjudge the nearing end of the airstrip. At that point, he was travelling at a speed of 300km-ph. At such a point you are travelling 80 meters per second, so if you calculate it nearly impossible to stop the bike in any given panic situation.
Similarly, needless to say, the vehicle was off the airstrip in a fraction of seconds and was flipped for multiple times. The vehicle being severely damaged, the rider now lies in ICU in a private hospital in Bangalore.
The importance of Safety Gear:
The group of professionals, being literate enough were all geared up and were carrying all the required safety gears with them on the shoot. Although wearing a helmet, all the riding gear, the rider has got various injuries and some of them include a broken collar bone. Thanks to the qualitative safety gear that he was saved from various injuries and muscles tears.
Group of people who could eye witness the mishap, happen to conclude that the massacre happened just after the bike marked its top speed ranks. Just after it reached high speeds of 300 km-ph, the rider was seen flying in no time.
Looking at the pics one can figure the amount of damage the bike has taken and also how much pain the rider must be going through. It’s high time people understand the importance of safety riding gears and helmets. The rider today is breathing, just because he was smart enough to be covered neatly. Looking at the bike it seems to be more than a miracle that he is still alive.
Make sure wherever you go, you carry a helmet and a minimum required safety gear. While driving four wheelers, never ignore a seat belt, it could save your life some day as it did recently.
Safety before regret, Always.
