Hyundai will raise the prices of their products across the range by Rs 30,000 in order to compensate the costs they have to bear due to ever rising expenses. This price hike will be effective from August 1, 2015.
Rakesh Srivastava, Sr. Vice President, sales and marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “The price increase has been necessitated by increase of input costs. We have been absorbing most of the costs but now we are constrained to consider the price increase in these challenging market environment.”
The newly launched Creta will not be affected by the price rise and will continue to sell at the prices announced at the launch.
Currently Hyundai has ten models in their portfolio with Eon, i10, Grand i10, Xcent, Verna, Elite i20, i20 Active, Creta, Elantra, Santa Fe.
