Bajaj outdid themselves when the revealed the Pulsar 200 SS at the Auto Expo early this year and now we can finally see the production version of the bike ready.
The Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS is based on the present 200 NS platform and adds a bit of sportiness to it. The SS in the name stands for Super Sport and the features a mean looking fully faired body.
The Pulsar 200 SS is expected to get power from 199.5 cc single cylinder, four stroke, liquid cooled, fuel injected engine which can produce max power 23.52 BHP and peak torque of 18.3 NM at 8000 RPM, which is already used in the 200 NS.
Additional features include twin projector lights, clip-on handlebars and sporty alloy wheels. Mono-shock suspension and a small beefy looking exhaust adds to the look.
Previously it was reported that Bajaj will launch the bike with ABS as standard but now it seems they have re-worked their plan and will launch a non-ABS version as well.
Bajaj will price the bike between 1.2 to 1.5lk which is really aggressive pricing. The bike pitches against the Yamaha R15, the Hero Karizma and its brother-from-another-mother, the KTM RC200.
