Mission Impossible series has always been about defying gravity, death and sometimes even logic. But it has undoubtedly provided wholesome entertainment for just under a couple of decades now. Using amazing car chase sequences in the movie is one way to attention and a lot of it. The latest movie is no different in this case. The cars used this time are BMW M3.
How much does one M3 cost in India? 1.20 crore ex-showroom. Under the hood is a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six that makes 425 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque. It makes glorious sounds all the way to its 7500-rpm redline. A six-speed manual is standard and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is optional. Eight cars have been sacrificed for the shooting of the spy thriller. The images show the beating these cars have taken which makes us believe the chase sequences are going to be better than ever.
He crashed 3 BMW M3 sedans in one single day in order to complete a very dangerous car chase scene. That’s around 4.5 crore down the drain in just a few hours of shoot. However there are some unconfirmed reports which suggest that these are actually the regular 3-Series versions which have been beefed up to look like their costly siblings. Also making their presence felt are BMW Motorrad S 1000 RR, BMW X5 xDrive 40e, the first plug-in hybrid series production automobile of the core BMW brand, and the BMW 6 Series Convertible.
The movie comes out today and if we are to go by the reviews, this is a winner with the best action sequences in the series.
