Lamborghini Aventador is built for experiencing that adrenalin rush on the race track. It is that spaceship like model that took the world by storm with is design and power. The company made the car with one motto… to go as fast as it could on the ROAD. But some folks don’t get it!!
Usually, owners of exotic supercars tend to pamper them, keeping these highly prized rides in climate controlled garages for most of their lives, but people in the Middle East are some sort of a different breed. This guy got his hands behind the wheel of Lamborghini Aventador Roadster in the middle of a desert and didn’t think of going dune bashing with this ultimate machine. The four-wheel drive supercar didn’t have much of a problem dealing with the sand, but it certainly must have got really dirty on the inside and the engine bay. With no top and windows rolled down, nothing could have saved the exquisite Italian leather from being covered in dry sand.
Power for the Aventador Roadster comes from a hand-built 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder engine tuned to deliver 690 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 690 Newton metre of torque at 5,500 rpm. The prodigious amount of grunt is generated by pure displacement, no turbos or superchargers in the engine bay. Mated to a 7-speed sequential gearbox and an Haldex 4WD system, the Italian open-top super car is capable of dispatching 0-100 km sprint in just 3 seconds, and it has a top speed of 350 kmph.
