Mercedes-Benz India launched one of the most beautiful cars from its lineup, the CLA luxury sedan. CLA is also one of the most aerodynamic car in the world that has coefficient of discharge of 0.22. CLA The petrol powered variant of CLA is expensive than the diesel variant. The petrol variant is priced at Rs. 35 Lakhs and diesel powered car is priced at Rs. 31.1 Lakh. The car is priced competitively as its coming to India via CKD route.
CLA is Mercedes fourth offering, from the MFA platform (modular front architecture), where the other cars are A-class, B-class and GLA. LIke mentioned CLA is one of the most beautiful looking sedan and surprisingly most of the styling is similar to that of its elder sibling the CLA 45 AMG. Frameless doors, twin exhaust, coupe like design are the main attraction even on regular CLA which are also available on CLA45 AMG.
The petrol powered version of CLA sedan features 2 liter turbocharged 4 cylinders that produces 181bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque. The diesel mill is same that goes in A-Class and B-Class as it shares a same MFA architecture, 2.2 liter turbo diesel but here the power is pumped to 134 bhp. Both the engines are mated to 7 speed direct shift gearbox.
