Maruti Suzuki is again ready to steal the spotlight by introducing new shades in the existing colour range of Ciaz. Currently the car is available in white, brown, red, silver, grey, black and beige exterior body colours. It’s been almost a month back Maruti launched Ciaz. Honda City has been already outsold by MarutiCiaz by making impressive 6,345 units sales in the month of October. It’s a perfect replacement of SX4. Currently there is no official information by company, but it is expected to be positioned over the current top end trim namely Z(O). Pricing wise also you may
Expect an increase of about Rs. 20,000. Price and technical specifications is yet to be officially released. The new spiced colour seems to be ready and soon will be available at nearby showrooms. India was the first country to get the full sized family of sedan before the rest of the world.
Ciaz is powered by a Fiat sourced 1.3-litre four cylinder turbocharged common rail diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 88.7 bhp and peak torque of 200 Nm. In case of petrol variant it is powered from the same 1.4-litre K-Series four cylinders naturally aspirated petrol engine churning out a maximum power of 90 bhp and peak torque of 130 Nm. Ciaz is equipped with advanced features like Camera Assisted Reverse Parking, Keyless Push Start System and Smart Key. Along with that, intelligently designed features like Rear AC Vents, Personal Reading Lamps and Rear Sunshade ensure complete comfort for the passengers. It comes in both manual and automatic transmission. Both the variants of the car come with 5 speed manual transmission while petrol also gets an option of 4-speed manual transmission. Ciaz gives mileage upto 26.21 kmpl and 19.12 kmpl for diesel and petrol variants respectively.
It comes in different variants such as V, V+, Z and Z-O based upon features added. But the top of the line Z+ variant for the Ciaz is yet to be announced. The Z+ variant will get all the features from the Z-O variant along with new SmartPlay, touchscreen stereo system allows you to connect your mobile phone. Which allows you to replicate your mobile phone’s screen on the car’s SmartPlay screen, so that you can use all apps on your phone via smartplay. The Multimedia head unit will also support navigation and offer voice recognition. It is not sure but this new colour could be used when they announce the launch of new variant Z+ in coming weeks. Only time will tell how its going to be, wait and watch.
