The launch is still a long time away but our friends at Powerdrift have caught Tata HEXA testing around Pune. The car is heavily camouflaged, not giving away much.
The Hexa is Aria based crossover measuring 4,764mm in length, 1,895mm in length and 1,780mm in height. The vehicle has a long wheelbase of 2,850mm. The images reveal quite a few things which includes an ORVM turn indicators, projector headlamps, flatter bonnet, side body cladding and the 19-inch 5-spoke alloys which have been carried on from the concept shown at Geneva Motor Show.
The Hexa might features a 2.2-litre, four-cylinder, VARICOR diesel mill that churns out 154bhp of power and 400Nm of torque. The powerplant may come mated to a six-speed manual transmission and might be available with a 4WD option. We cannot rule out an automatic variant since automatic transmission is the flavour of the season.
The car might be launched at the Auto Expo in Delhi next year and expected around 10-12 Lakhs in India.
