The next generation of the Fiat Punto has been spotted, heavily camouflaged. Carplace spotted the car doing rounds in Brazil.
With the X6H codename, this will replace the Punto across Europe and latin America in 2016. A report also suggested X6H will be brought the India only in 2017.
of the very few take-aways due to the camouflage, we can discover very little. The new alloys stand-out and so does the lowered stance. Another thing which seems to have changed are the ORVMs which are now mounted on the window frame and not on the doors like in the present generation Punto.
The image source also reports that Fiat will launch the new Punto with 3 engine options, including a brand new 1.4 l aluminium block from the GSE family. This will churn out 100 horses and 138 Nm of torque. The other two engines on offer will be a 1.6 and 1.8 E-Torq. No news has been reported about the 1.4 T-Jet engine.
