Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd. has entered into partnership with the E-commerce giant Snapdeal to sell its products online. Customers will be able to browse through the entire line-up and book the product they desire by paying the booking amount online. The customers will then have to select a dealership in their vicinity from where they will get the delivery of the motorcycle. Now, a simple question arises why would we do that online? As an introductory offer, Suzuki has announced one year additional warranty for the customers that buy their products online.
“A tie up with an online giant like Snapdeal was a logical choice for Suzuki as internet and e-commerce is starting to become a popular channel in India. We are sure that this collaboration will be profitable for Snapdeal, Suzuki and our customers.” said Masayoshi Ito, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycles India Pvt. Ltd.
“We are excited about having Suzuki two-wheelers on our newly launched Snapdeal Motors platform. Our motors platform has been specifically designed to provide the most hassle-free auto loan application process to all our customers. said Tony Navin, Senior Vice-President, Partnerships and Strategic Initiatives, Sanpdeal.
Snapdeal is the best option for the automobile companies among all the E-commerce websites. Snapdeal is already into partnership with Hero MotoCorp, Hero Electric, Mahindra and Mahindra, Mahindra two-wheelers and Piaggio. It is selling automobiles for more than a year now. The first 20,000 units of the 2nd generation Scorpio when launched were first introduced on Snapdeal. This was first of its kind initiative that the industry saw.
