Suzuki Baleno is a very important launch for the Japanese company especially after the failure of S-Cross. The Baleno debuted at Frankfurt Motor Show and is in time for a festive season debut in India. Suzuki Baleno bookings have started at NEXA outlets with an initial payment of Rs. 25,000.
The detailed specifications have been leaked ahead of its October 26 launch.
The Baleno will come in two engine options, one in petrol and the other in diesel. The petrol VVT engine will make 84PS power at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 115 Nm at 4000 rpm. The DDIS diesel mill will make 75 PS power at 4000 rpm and a max torque of 190 Nm at 2000 rpm.
The hatch will come in seven colors:
