Earlier this morning we reported the release of official images of the Tata Zica by Tata Motors.
Tata Zica previously known as Kite is all set to be launched on the 1st of December in a press drive at Goa. But, before the launch the upcoming hatchback was spied without camouflage this weekend. Tata Motors itself released the official images of the Zica today. But, both the spy shots and the official images show the top end variant which looks impressive.
However, the base variant of Tata Zica is recently spied by Encartor-Tanay. The place where the shots are taken looks like the production facility. Though, it seems to be the base variant but it hosts some very impressive features. The spied car has foglights which seem to be standard on the Tata Zica. It also has the chrome outline for the front grille, body colored ORVM’s with integrated turn indicators in them and rear wiper with washer. The factors indicating that the spied car is the base variant are black-colored bumpers and door handles. The wheels of the spied car have steel wheels rather than the alloys seen in the official images.

Though, the spied images do not have any specification abut the interiors, we expect dual-tone black and beige dashboard as standard across all variants. Overall interiors are expected to be just like that of the Zest/Bolt cousins. Safety features such as ABS, EBD and Airbags are also expected to be offered across all variants.
Though the engine specifications are not yet revealed but it will be safe to expect a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, petrol engine and a 1.05-liter, 3-cylinder diesel engine which will be be the shredded version of the 1.4-liter engine currently working in cars like Manza.
