One of Tata Motors’ biggest launches in 2018 will be the X451 code-named premium hatchback. This car will challenge the Maruti Baleno and the Hyundai Elite i20. It has been spotted testing numerous times in the past one year, enough to inspire a bunch of renderings from car websites in India. The suspense will soon be over though as Tata is all set to unveil this hatchback at the 2018 Indian Auto Expo. Until then, here are four speculative renders to give you a picture on what to expect.
This render from CarToq is inspired by the teasers that Tata Motors put out in the run up to the Auto Expo. The new car will feature Tata’s Impact 2.0 design philosophy, which will give it clean, sweeping lines. The X451 will be the first Tata car to use the Advanced Modular Platform (AMP).
This Rushlane render makes the X451 look even more sportier, with a design that’s a step forward from that of the Tiago. The hatch lid spoiler at the rear of the car gives the car sporty appeal while the blacked out roof and front grille add contrast to the design.
This design is from the internet, by a car enthusiast called Vipin Vathoopan, who posted this design to Facebook. This is most pleasing and realistic of all X451 renders we’ve seen on the internet, and it leaves us hoping that the car actually turns out to look like this. What do you feel?
Finally, IndianAutosBlog shows us how the car’s concept form could look like. The final car is expected to shed much of these futuristic lines for a more realistic, production ready design. This render is more of imagination than reality, and we’re sure you can make that out too. The X451 is expected to carry petrol and diesel engines from the Tiago, but with booster power and torque outputs.
