Power and style re-defined- The sixth-generation 2015 Ford Mustang RTR is no longer a mystery, sketches have popped up on the internet along with a few details of the new Mustang RTR, which is being developed by the Ford racing team in collaboration with ace drifting champion Vaughn Gittin Jr.
The 2015 Ford Mustang will officially unveil the beast in the coming months and production should start by January. The performance and price specs of the Mustang RTR have not yet been released, but according to the Ford racing team, the Mustang RTR will be available in two engine modes- a 2.3 liter, 4-cylinder, EcoBoost engine, which produces 300 BHP of power and a more powerful 5.0 liter, V8 engine, which will produce more than 435 BHP of power- for those crazy enthusiasts with deeper pockets and who wish to burn some rubber.
Ford Mustangs are known for their power-yes! But along with that Mustangs also are known for its fierce-muscle looking mean machine appearance and the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR seems to be stepping it up where design is concerned. The front gets a re-designed bumper with a smaller grille and triangular LEDs. The lower bumper is ditched leaving space for a new carbon-fiber apron and a larger air splitter. Around the back, the Mustang RTR gets an aggressive-looking race diffuser, the RTR logo embedded between the tri-bar tail lamps and a rear lip spoiler. To finish off the classy looks the Mustang RTR will get a set of blacked-out multi-spoke wheels and a sleek graphics package.
Commenting on the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR, Vaughn Gittin Jr Said “Ford’s Mustang team has done an incredible job with the new Mustang RTR. Without a question, the performance and overall presence of the new Mustang RTR will impress and keep a smile on our customers’ faces, whether cruising the streets or getting crazy on the track.” We now eagerly wait for the official launch of the 2015 Ford Mustang RTR and watch what the muscled beast has in store for us.
