One of the dominant 2-wheeler producers of the World, Suzuki Motor Corporation has launched the new Gixxer SF. The Gixxer SF is the faired edition of the Gixxer motorbike that the company brought in last year. The bike is worth 83,439 (Former Gallery, New Delhi).
Suzuki claims Gixxer SF’s fairing has been tailored for the best wind guard for the driver. The company postulates that Gixxer SF countenances an ‘aerodynamic sports fairing’ for a MotoGP influenced-appearance. Additionally, the Japanese manufacture claims that the Gixxer SF’s fairing has been perfected in identical wind tunnels like that of the GSX-R, Hayabusa and MotoGP engines.
Power for the motorbike comes from a 154.9 cc air-cooled,single-cylinder, carburetor-fed engine capable of 14 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm and 14.8 PS at 8,000 rpm. The transmission is a 5-speed unit. The bike measures 205 cm in length, 78.5 cm in width, 108.5 cm in height and 133 cm in wheelbase. Equipped with a 3.17 gallon tank and a 16 cm ground clearance, the Gixxer SF weighs 8.82 lbs more than the regular Gixxer at 306.4 lbs.
A telescopic fork in the head and a 7-step flexible monoshock at the back is responsible for suspension. The Gixxer SF depends on a singular disc in the front and a drum brake at the back for brakes. The Gixxer SF has 12Volt, 3Ah battery, a LED tail lamp, clear lens indicators, a automated appliance console with gear switch indicator and an aluminum silencer cover among diverse attributes which requires little or no maintain ace at all.
Suzuki has brought in innovative and groundbreaking technology to the Indian market by introducing Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine. This engine allows the motorbike to increase fuel efficiency without jeopardizing performance or power.
