Suzuki in 2013 revealed the iv-4 concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, but news has surfaced on the internet, that a production version of the iv-4 concept is now called the 2015 Suzuki Vitara, which will be unveiled by the Japanese car manufacturer at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.
The Suzuki Vitara as seen in the picture released by Suzuki sports a twin-chromed front grille- instead of the 5-slot grille on the iv-4 concept, wrap around dual-barrel headlamps with a slight touch of blue tinge, a silver insert on the lower front bumper, circular fog lamps, large air-dams and thin vertical LED with DRL’s on the edges of the bumper, which sum up the look of the 2015 Vitara.
The 2015 Suzuki Vitara has a very sporty design which seems to be inspired from the Land Rover Evoque which features a blackened roof and c pillars, along with a sharp crease from the front wheel rising to the rear end. Suzuki has not revealed much about the interiors, but closer to the launch more information should surface.
Suzuki has not even mentioned anything about the engine trim the 2015 Vitara will get, but we think the 1.6 liter, petrol and diesel engines from the SX4 S-cross might be employed in the Vitara as well.
Suzuki has stated that the Vitara will be available in a range of color and trim options and the buyers will be able to customize their vehicles. Saying this the 2015 Suzuki Vitara will give the Opel Mokka and the Nissan Juke tough competition in the global market, as for the Indian market it will be placed in the most happening car segment- the compact SUV segment and will face rivals like the Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster and Nissan Terrano. We hope that the new 2015 Suzuki Vitara creates an impact in the Indian market, unlike its sibling the Grand Vitara.
