India is the second largest producer of two-wheelers in the world. As Indian motorcycle market is expanding more and more, international bike makers are entering in this scorching market. Recently we witnessed one of the biggest Automotive event in India, 2014 Autoexpo. What is the better place than such grand event to display your products?
American motorcycle maker UM Global (United Motors) showcased few of their products lineup at 2014 Autoexpo. UM global displayed four motorcycles viz Duty, Sport and Commando which are a part of the Renegade Cruiser lineup and Xtreet which is a part of the Sport lineup. Renegate duty is cruiser model which is available with two cubic capacity options-125cc and 150cc. Renegate Sport is another cruiser with three cubic capacity options-137.8cc, 180.4cc and 196.4 cc, whereas Renegate street is a sports model.
UM is a motorcycle brand born in America and was first registered with the U.S. Trademark and Patent Office by its founders, the Villegas Family, in the early 2000’s. Affordable bikes and scooters are made and distributed to over 20 different countries under the UM motorcycles brand.
Its not just marketing unveil, UM global means business here. UM motorcycles are all set to establish their office in Delhi, and they are not only planning to set up a manufacturing plant but also develop an R&D centre.

Comfort Umgel Seat – Its inner channel eliminates pressure points while gel pads minimize vibration transference. Though Indian motorcycle enthusiasts are starving for dual-purpose motorcycles, UM motorcycles did not showcase any such model. Lets cross our fingers and wait for a better scenario.
